What we’re about
Note: we are keeping this group small and LIMITED to only a private group of docents interested in small group hikes where we can safely socialize together while keeping up our docent skills during this dreadful pandemic. Use this Meetup to signup for hikes organized by other docents and to post hikes you want to lead. Unless otherwise specified, all hikes will be limited in size and you will need to signup for each hike. There will typically also be a waitlist. Please give your host at least a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel, so someone from the waitlist can join.
Information re setting up a hike:
The host for each hike will set guidelines and all are expected to follow these, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Typically these guidelines will include max # of people, need to wear masks and practice social distancing.
Please also include information re expected length of hike in miles, elevation gain, pace, expected duration and any special focus if there is a focus (examples: general nature, birds, mushrooms etc).
