Join us for another Saturday walk from Woodley to the Canal Towpath via a Rockcreek park route 1 hour and 15 minutes each way. This is an almost completely paved and flat walk but may have some stairs.
It may rain, but I have a pack of 10 upper-body ponchos so we should be fine. The ponchos have hoods and will cover any pants pockets and backpacks but will not cover your legs.
We'll also stop a at the Francis Scott Key Memorial and People will have a chance to buy sandwiches for lunch if they want to.
We will meet at 10:50 AM on the sidewalk outside of the Woodley Park Metro Stop, at the top of the escalators. We will leave at 11:00 AM.
Do bring shoes that you don't mind getting dirty, and try to remember to bring a water bottle. As always, we will endeavor to leave no trace other than footprints on the trail.
