What we’re about

NAWBO is the unified voice of 10+ million U.S.-based women-owner businesses. The organization represents the interests of women entrepreneurs with over 80 chapters nationwide, 11 of which are located in California, including right here in VENTURA COUNTY.
Established in 1995, NAWBO Ventura County is a highly influential chapter and is the go-to resource for building partnerships, education, and community; empowering women entrepreneurs to grow and succeed in business.
In addition to monthly meetings that feature instructive speakers and panelists, the chapter hosts regular networking events, member meet-ups, a Mastermind program, Mentor/Mentee partnerships, a Pivoting Pages NawBOOK CLUB, and educational "boost your business" workshops. The chapter also takes an active role in supporting favorable business legislation through a state-wide public policy forum. NAWBO is a non-partisan organization.
Chapter membership ranges from solopreneurs to small and mid-size business owners to corporations in diverse industries including manufacturing, construction, energy, agribusiness, retail, financial and legal services, technology, marketing, health, professional services and more.
