Start the new year in sisterhood, reflection, and wellness. Join the National Coalition of 100 Black Women - Silicon Valley Chapter for our New Year’s Day Sistah Hike & Lunch as we step forward into 2026 with intention.
The hike offers a peaceful space to reflect, breathe deeply, and reset. With each step, we embrace alignment over pressure, presence over perfection, and progress over pause. Let’s support one another as we move into a new chapter together!
After the hike, we’ll gather for lunch at Jack’s Restaurant & Bar to enjoy good food and great company.
Location:
Coyote Hills Regional Park
- Meeting Point: Dumbarton Quarry Campground, 9400 Quarry Road, Fremont, CA 94555
- Parking: $5 per vehicle
- Trail: Meadowlark Trail to Bayview Trail (3.5 miles, Intensity: Easy)
Brunch Location:
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar
- 1029 Newpark Mall Road, Newark, CA
- Arrival between 3:00 - 4:00 PM

- Comfortable hiking shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing (layered is best)
- Backpack for essentials
- Water bottle
- Snacks (energy bars, nuts, or fruit)
- Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
- Camera or phone for photos

- Hike Duration: Approximately 3 to 4 hours
- Brunch: Immediately following, lasting about 2 hours
