Quincunx – The Underdog of Aspects
They’re not squares, they’re not oppositions, and they’re definitely not subtle. Quincunxes are the itch you can’t scratch - persistent, puzzling, and profoundly revealing.

In this lecture, we’ll explore the potent energy of quincunxes (a.k.a. inconjuncts) - aspects often misunderstood, overlooked, or underestimated. We’ll discuss their role in natal charts, the tension they create, and the peculiar way they demand constant adjustment.

Tracy Quinlan is a contemporary astrologer with a BA in Sociology and Psychology. She writes horoscopes for the annual Llewellyn Astrological Calendar, has been a regular contributor in the OPA magazine, and has spoken at NORWAC, UAC, and the Canadian Astrology Conference. Tracy is also a certified Acutonics practitioner and teacher, integrating sound healing into her astrology work for a truly holistic approach.

She has served on the boards of both local and international astrology organizations and brings decades of astrological passion and exploration to her teaching and consulting. Her book, Charting Love Through Astrology, will be released By Llewellyn February 2026 - all about finding love, self-discovery, and what our charts say about our personal relationship story.

Please Note: Tracy will be speaking via Zoom; she will not be at the Encinitas Community Center, but you will be able to engage with Tracy and ask questions.
