## The Rising Sign as the Doorway: Astrology as Initiation and Choice

The Ascendant is more than a personality marker, it is the point of entry into lived experience. This talk explores the Rising sign as a threshold of initiation, showing how transits and timing activate moments of choice, embodiment, and conscious participation in one’s chart, using the grand trine as a technique for understanding these transitions.

Venesse is a certified evolutionary astrologer and educator who approaches astrology as a practice of perception, ethical interpretation, and conscious engagement with timing. She integrates planetary cycles, chart structure, and lived experience to support meaningful growth through change. She is a Deaf astrologer and the first Deaf certified professional astrologer in the world, with a strong commitment to accessibility in astrological education.

After the meeting, we will be going to lunch. All participants are welcome to join us. The lunch place will be announced at the meeting.
