What we’re about
This is a group for everyone interested in learning more astrology. Astrologers, students, members, and guests of the San Diego NCGR group (a.k.a. Aquarius Cafe), meet the third Saturday of the month in Encinitas. The San Diego NCGR is a non-profit organization.
Each meeting offers an opportunity to discuss concepts and techniques of astrology. Members and guests come together to explore a variety of perspectives, to share ideas with one another. Each month our national and local speakers provide insight, and there are many astrologers in our our group who are happy to answer your questions.
We also organize workshops where an expert teacher goes into greater detail on a specific topic, and teaches helpful techniques, so we can keep growing our skill. Some examples of popular workshops are: Vocational Astrology, Relationships Patterns, and Predictions for the Year. We look forward to meeting you at an event soon!

Cottonwood Room #120Based on 12 fundamental principles, astrology provides you with a unique and amazing system for understanding your makeup, motivations, innate talents and challenges — as well as those of others in your personal sphere.
Equally important, astrology also provides an effective timing method for developing your natural potentials, projecting into the future and co-creating the reality you would like to experience. Electional Astrology offers useful and numerous tools for choosing (electing) an ideal, or at least appropriate, time for initiating a new project or business, getting married, signing contracts, investing money, taking a trip, scheduling medical or dental procedures, getting a haircut, planting a garden or planning a successful party.
In this Zoom presentation, we will explore easy-to-learn techniques and tools that will hopefully inspire you to utilize astrological timing for further self-development and for making better-informed choices for your future. In the course of this talk, we will cover the Sun and Moon cycles, with a special emphasis on Moon transits & aspects. Planet transits, progressions and solar returns will also be discussed. Bring your horoscope (along with current progressions & transits if possible) — and your questions for the Q & A session following the talk.
So, instead of wondering how upcoming planetary transits & progressions will be affecting you, know that you have the power to take control of your own destiny and put yourself into the driver’s seat. Experience your life from a more intentional perspective through astrology in action!
