NE-MMM Meetup on Saturday, October 12th in Foxborough

ACTIVITIES: Jayne and Elaine are planning a workshop —
Combining Intuitive Nature Sketching in Mini Mixed Media Collage
Supplies provided:
background paper, backboards, water soluble graphite pencils, selection of papers and mixed media elements, matte gel medium, small palette for paint and medium.
The techniques use water soluble graphite pencils on white-to neutral paper scraps and utilizes gel medium, gesso, and acrylic paints (1 or 2 favorite colors to add accents). If you have any of these already, please let us know.
You will also need a small brush for the medium to be used to attach elements to the background, a round brush of your choice to add paints or gesso, a mechanical or standard pencil, and scissors.
Any collage supplies such as water soluble crayons and washi tape would be great additions, too. No need to purchase anything — we'll have multiples to share.

You can also bring your own project if this does not appeal to you.

ATC Giveaway: The binders with hundreds of ATCs from years of our Meetup will be at the church. You're welcome to look through them and take your own and any other favorites you'd like to keep.

COST: $15, regardless of when you arrive or depart. If this is a hardship, let Pat know and we'll work something out.

• Reminder: Cash is preferred; small bills are greatly appreciated. Checks and PayPal are accepted; ask Pat for info.

WHAT SUPPLIES SHOULD I BRING? There's a suggested list in "All About NE Mixed Media Meetup". But even if you show up empty-handed, that's fine--we have loaner tools. Specifics for the workshop TBD.

SNACKS: There's no obligation, but you can bring something to share. Please bring your leftovers home when you leave. Also a good idea to bring a drink for yourself.

FREE STUFF/SALE ITEMS: You're welcome to bring items to sell or give away. Please take everything leftover home with you.

RSVPs: Please RSVP "yes" to attend; that way, we'll have an approximate headcount, and you'll receive all notifications about the Meetup!

If your plans change, please change your RSVP to "no" at least 24 hours in advance so we'll know not to expect you. Anyone who cancels on shorter notice or doesn't show up at all will likely be asked to pay the fee anyway to help cover our costs for the day.

LAST-MINUTE UPDATES: Please check your email in box and the website before leaving for the Meetup. That way, in the unlikely event that we need to cancel for any reason, you'll be sure to get the news.
