Akron MakerSpace Grand Opening

Akron MakerSpace is a community workshop that provides tools, training, and shop space for local makers. Woodworking including turning, metalworking, sewing, crafting, laser cutting, 3d printing, ceramics, glass art, and more.

This is the Grand Opening of our new location at Canal Place! Open to all.

Ribbon cutting at 1pm. Check out our improved and larger location in downtown Akron. Meet fellow Makers and tour The Space that empowers you to create art, gain skills, and invent the future. Our new 10,000 Sqft location is conveniently located in the Historic BF Goodrich tire facility close to RT77 and RT59. Refreshments and Hors d'oeuvres provided with cash bar. Ample Parking in the large lot directly off Main St.

Enter building #1 through the glass double doors near the wheelchair ramp. There will be a greeter there to show you through the building.
