Hi everyone, hope you’re all doing well.

My name is Jerry Bascombe. I was a radio presenter for 14 years on Choice FM 96.9 (now Capital Xtra) before going on to launch my own station, The Soul of London Radio.

I’ve been DJing for many years and organising events for nearly 25 years, bringing people together through parties, social gatherings, group holidays, and more. Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of people connect, many forming lasting friendships and even relationships.

I’ve also built a community of nearly 10,000 members and subscribers through my platform, Need a Place to Go, which continues to grow.

Our events are designed for like-minded individuals, mainly aged 40+, who enjoy great music, good food, socialising, travel, and having a genuinely good time in a welcoming environment.
