SUMMER HIKE AT GARFIELD PARK RESERVATION FOLLOWED BY LUNCH AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT

WHEN: Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.

WHAT: A few years ago, parts of the park were transformed via a multi-year restoration project which included a restored two-acre lower pond (allowing kayaking and paddleboarding) and Wolf Creek ecological restorations amongst many others. With this visit, we will be able to see how much greenery has filled in since we last visited in 2025.
WHERE: Take I-480 to Broadway Ave (Rt 14). Turn right onto Broadway Ave. The entrance to Garfield Park Reservation is on the left. Turn left on Mill Creek Lane to the Nature Center. We will meet in front of the Nature Center.
