Many real estate investors use LLCs to structure and protect their assets. Some even use them to maintain a degree of privacy. However, many things have changed since my last presentation two years ago. Both federal and state laws have changed requiring new levels of public disclosure regarding LLC ownership. I will cover common strategies used for multi-LLC structures and also the new federal Corporate Transparency Act registration and coming Pennsylvania disclosure requirements that every LLC and Corporation owner needs to understand.
