Computing in the Cloud with AWS or Google - Monthly Full Stack Meetup

This month we've got staff from Stratus EMR and from Fiksu talking about cloud computing using Google and AWS!

Geri Jennings and Peter Cleary from Stratus EMR are going to discuss how they've set up their dev / production environments in the cloud using Google Compute Engine. They'll go through the specifics of server setup and talk about some of the available features Google has to offer, such as load balancing, auto scaling, and cluster management.

Alex Kalish of Fiksu Inc. will walk through the company's experiences with Amazon Web Services over the past 5 years. He will provide a brief overview of each of the products that they have found the most useful, as well as an even briefer look at the ones we have found generally useless.
