Northampton Municipal Network Organizational Meeting

• What we'll do

Continue working on petitioning the city to help create a high speed municipal network, similar to efforts completed or underway in nearby cities like Leverett, Westfield, Holyoke/South Hadley and one proposed in Easthampton. We'll get reports from members of the group doing outreach and talking with the city and others. We'll have a representative from either Wired West or Crocker Communications to discuss the financial, logistical and political efforts for doing this in Northampton. We'll figure out next steps and give our group an official name.

Ideas, enthusiasm, skills, a notebook and a flashlight wouldn't hurt either!

• Important to know

You need to go around to the BACK of the school. You cannot get in through the front door. Look for the NCTV sign. There are spaces directly in front of NCTV but not a whole lot of them. If they are not reserved or for handicapped, you can park there. Otherwise you need to park in the west parking lot. It can't hurt to bring a flashlight as it can be quite dark!
