Nerds Supporting Nerds--Promote Your Business

Quite frequently, I receive messages from ladies in the group who have a product or service that they would like to promote through an event with the Nerdy 30s. I've tried to honor requests one by one, but now that our numbers are getting larger, the requests are becoming more and more frequent, and our calendar is only so big.

So I thought we could gather and showcase our own small businesses and projects of passion! If you have a good or a service that you would appreciate the patronage of nerdy 30s ladies and like to get the word out, then you should attend this event. Whether you have an etsy store, an art studio, sell makeup, bake, teach calligraphy, whatever, this is the event to attend and display your talents.

Make sure to bring samples, business cards, promotional coupons, and anything else that would be relevant to promotion of your small business. We will each have a chance to introduce ourselves and share our work.

Please bring with you--

1)Anything relevant to your business--cards, brochures, samples, coupons, etc.

2)A drink or snack to share

3)Be prepared to give a short (5-10 minute) presentation about your goods/services

If the event goes well, I will make sure to have an event like this every few months or so.

If you don't have anything to promote, you should certainly still attend! Support your fellow nerdy friends!
