This is an introduction class for TRE (Trauma/Tension Release Exercise).
“Trauma” is not necessary an traumatizing episode. That is a huge mis-conception. Trauma/Tension refers to all kinds of stress - it could be caused by intense trauma (physical, mental, emotional) or incremental day to day stress. When you have trauma or stress, physical tension and emotions is stored in the body as well. Yes, even if the episode is long over.
TRE is relatively unheard of in Asia, it is still making its waves around the world, but it is widely adopted in western world. It is backed by science and widely adopted in America military as a form of mind-body therapeutic workout that activates an automatic vibration reflex to release tension and calm the nervous system.
TRE is for you if:
- You are someone who believes in the effects of meditation but struggled to sit down for long.
- You want to learn complementary modality that allows you to do self practice for alleviating stress.
- You are curious on how you can benefit from regulating your nervous system.
- You like to learn to self release tension from your fascia system (connective tissue), or learn more how fascia is tied to our stress and emotions.
- You are simply curious about this self activated automatic vibrational therapy.
- You like to benefit from chronic pain management, insomnia, reducing cortisol & inflammation, increasing mobility and expedite in muscle recovery, just to name a few.
