🗣️ Domain-Driven Design – Double Distilled
The Man, the Myth, the Method: Domain-Driven Design has been a phantom of the software development world. It's marketed plenty and referenced quickly, but who has actually sat down and developed with DDD through and through? With that question, I went on a five-year journey to rediscover the lost art of DDD, and came back with painful and elating lessons, as well as some hot takes. Is it Models or Entities, should I mutate my Objects, and do I really need a repository when Entity Framework exists? I will demystify Domain-Driven Design and give you practical insight into how much fun DDD can be, once you know how it really works, especially with modern C#. Whether you're curious about DDD or already using it, this talk is for you.
