What we’re about
Welcome autistic people, people with ADHD, audDHDers, dyslexic and dyscalculic people, CPTD folks, people with BPD, people anxiety and/or depression and everyone else
My name is Filip and I 'came out' as autistic in summer 2021. Since May 2022, my partner and I live in Barcelona and I have noticed that neurodivergence isn't yet a well-known topic in the city and the region. After trying out different meetup group, I realized it would be really great to start a meetup for the neurodivergents in Barcelona and get to know each other.
Neurodivergent Walks are our regular activity as a way to meet, spend time in nature and share public space with other Neurodivergent people in the city.
We typical choose parks and places with low sensory input, as something of a rarity in the city. But our walks are also there to satisfy sensory seeking needs, with a mix of nature and sometimes culture/art.
Everyone is welcome whether you're a local, expat or visitor. Also we're NT/ballistic friendly so if you want to bring your partner or family as well, you're welcome.

See all- Anti-Sant Joan: Through Neurodivergent Eyes / Una Mirada Neurodivergent(e)Needs location
This is a symbolic listing. No event will take place.
Sant Joan is a deeply loved celebration, but for many neurodivergent individuals like me included, it can feel like sensory overload: explosions, crowds, unpredictability.
This “event” exists to acknowledge a truth that often gets drowned out in the noise. For some, Sant Joan isn’t joyful - it’s distressing and painful.
By creating even this symbolic space, we validate that experience. We make it visible. And we ask: what would it take for celebrations to feel safe, or at least bearable, for everyone?
If this resonates, RSVP to make the point. Share the message. Start a conversation. Ask how the lovely Sant Joan tradition can evolve to include more of us.
This initiative includes Neurodivergent in Barcelona and Barcelona Gifted Adults- Zebras & other divergent animals.

Aquesta és una convocatòria simbòlica. No hi haurà cap esdeveniment.
