Hi, it’s great to have you here! The Neurodivergent Social Club is a place for autistic and neurodivergent people (including those who think they might be) to meet others who “get it.” Whether you want to make new friends, share hobbies, or just enjoy some company, we hope you’ll feel at home.

Who can join?
This group is for autistic and other neurodivergent people, as well as those who think they may be neurodivergent.

Do I have to talk or participate?
Nope! You’re welcome to come, sit quietly, or just observe, whatever feels comfortable.

How is the meetup funded?
The meetup is funded via optional donations from members. There’s no pressure to contribute, just come and enjoy yourself.

Do I have to attend regularly?
Not at all. Drop in whenever you like; there’s no pressure to come to every meetup.

What kind of activities happen?
We do low-pressure social meetups, such as board games, workshops, picnics, and casual outings. Activities are flexible and meant to be enjoyable. We may sometimes do more active meetups like ice skating and line dancing.

Is this group sensory-friendly?
We try to make meetups as sensory-friendly as possible. If you have specific needs or sensitivities, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Can I bring friends or family?
The group is for neurodivergent individuals. Friends or family can join only if they are also neurodivergent.

How do I stay updated?
Check the Meetup page for upcoming events and announcements. You can also RSVP to events to let us know you’re coming.

I’m nervous about attending, what should I do?
That’s completely normal! Many of us felt the same way at first. You can come for just a short while, arrive late, or leave early, whatever makes it easier for you. Alternately contact one of the hosts in advance and they will accommodate you as best they can.
