Welcome to Neurospicy SA!
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
NEUROSPICY SA is a nonprofit organization (501c3). All our events are for neurodivergent adults and are free to attend for adults, ages 18+, that have mental condiition(s) such as Autism, OCD, Anxiety, PTSD, dyslexia, or many others that make their brain operate differently than what's considered "normal."
OUR VISION: To forge a society where neurodivergent adults in the San Antonio area feel connected, supported, and valued — through inclusive programs, strong peer communities, and environments that nurture mental health and overall well-being.
OUR MISSION: To empower neurodivergent adults to overcome social isolation by promoting awareness, independence, respect, and inclusion. We connect individuals through peer support, inclusive community events, and educational opportunities that foster belonging and personal growth.
ABOUT THE GROUP:
We are a group of neurodivergent adults (ages 18+) in San Antonio, TX, who want to expand our social circle, reduce social isolation, and make new friends using a combination of socializing, karaoke, games, movies, food, and more! Join us for a fun and supportive environment where you can be yourself and make lasting connections.
Any neurospicy adults (ages 18+) can attend the public socials, but spots are limited and first-come, first-served. RSVP through Meetup preferred, but if not possible, please notify Meredith (director/organizer) before attending.
Before new members (Neurospicers) can attend the private socials, they must fill out the required Google Form, which will receive when your join request is accepted. They must also be have prior permission to attend. We want to ensure the safety and comfort of all attending members.
There is a Discord server, but you must be a member of the Meetup group, fill out the required Google Form, and have prior permission to join.
We really hope those of you who are neurodivergent will join us for great times and to meet new friends! Once again, welcome to Neurospicy SA!

(ONLINE) Neurospicy Tuesday Social (ages 18+)

Sessions are hosted by Meredith Marks with co-host Briana. Activities are designed to be welcoming, low-pressure, and neurodivergent-friendly.
During this event, neurospicy adults (ages 18+) join to enjoy a fun night of virtual socializing, gaming, and more!
This is a PRIVATE social. You must sign up through Meetup and have prior permission to attend! If you don't know how to use Meetup, please get in touch with me (Meredith) directly to sign up.
How to Attend
Attendance requires completing all of the following steps before joining:- Join the Neurospicy SA Meetup group
- Join the Neurospicy SA private Discord server — Sessions take place via Discord voice call
- Complete the pre-registration Google Form — You will receive this upon request
- Receive prior approval to attend — Approval is granted after your form is reviewed
- Complete the attendance Google Form at the start of each session — Link provided at the beginning of every event: https://forms.gle/WGFfuDxkba9SZFPt5
⚠️ All five steps must be completed. Individuals who have not received prior approval will not be admitted to the session.
We ask that you please respect the belongings of others and be kind and respectful of others' needs and feelings.
Session Agenda:
5:50-5:59pm: Host joins Discord social voice chat.
6:00pm-6:10pm: Remind members constantly to fill out the attendance form due by 6:10pm
6:00-6:05pm: Attendees show up on social voice chat
6:05-6:10pm: Welcome members & announcements
6:15-6:45pm: Member Introduction (first name & open-ended icebreaker) (Host starts)
6:45-7:15pm: Member Show & Tell (Host starts) - come prepared to share an item, story, hobby, recent interest, creative project, or anything meaningful to you
7:15-7:55pm: Bad Cards (online card game)
7:55-8:00pm: Quit the game & say bye!Attendees must reserve spots before 5:00 PM on the day of the event.
The limit for this event is 25 people. Events are first-come, first-served.

Neurospicy Networking (ages 18+)
I Love Churros Coffee Shop, 7007 Bandera Road, Unit 14, San Antonio, TX, USNeurospicy SA's Neurospicy Networking free events provide safe, supportive, and professional spaces for neurodivergent adults (ages 18+) to meet, talk with, and build relationships with other neurodivergent adults.
The purpose is to make connections that can lead to career advancement, business opportunities, or the exchange of information and resources.
Requirements:
- Must be neurodivergent
- Must be an adult (ages 18+)
- Must sign up on the Google Form
- Must have prior approvalPlease complete this Google Form to register for Neurospicy SA's Neurospicy Networking. You must fill it out and get prior approval to attend.

Neurospicy Friday Social (ages 18+)
McAllister Park Pavillion #3, 13102 Jones-Maltsberger, San Antonio, TX, USWelcome to our Friday Social at McAllister Park (Pavilion #3: Optimist)! We look forward to hosting this event for the neurospicy (neurodiverse) community!
This event is outside. So, please dress comfortably. If it rains, it will be cancelled.
This is a PUBLIC social. Anyone of the ages 18+ who is neurospicy can attend the event, but we ask that current members RSVP for this event on Meetup. If you cannot, please contact the organizer (Meredith) and let her know you're coming.
We will provide a space for socializing, drawing, card/board games, outdoor games, eating, and more.
If you wish to contribute by bringing food or drinks, please coordinate with Meredith, our organizer & director.
This is a recruitment event, so any neurospicy individuals ages 18+ wanting to join may attend and inquire about becoming a member.
We ask that you please respect the belongings of others, be kind and respectful of others' needs and feelings, and pick up after yourself.
Current members can reserve spots before 5:00 PM on the day of the event. RSVPed Meetup members have priority. This event's limit is 25 people.
