Start your hiking and food journey here. We are passionate about life and all things active, fun, and adventurous. Currently, we mostly hike but in our life before the pandemic, we used to go to different restaurants every week and explore what the Toronto food scene had to offer. We can't be happier about all the great and loving members we have and hope to see you at our future events soon.

BTW, we are going to be the coolest group in Toronto as we are currently working on our own website! Exciting!

To keep the quality of our group events and attendance rate high there is a fee for each person per event which can be paid via Paypal (when you click the join button) or e-transfer to the same email at nevereatalonetoronto@gmail.com (on auto-deposit).

Event fee has to be paid before the start of the event otherwise your host cannot accept you at the event. Please no cash. Always let the organizer know about your attendance if you are not on the list and don't surprise them by showing up at the event.

Event fee is non-refundable for no-shows and last 24hour cancellations.

If you cannot attend the events, just update your rsvp accordingly. Everyone's responsible for managing their own rsvp status.

In case of canceling your attendance in advance, if you are eligible to receive a refund, it would be processed after the events and might take 2 to 5 business days to be sent to you. If the original method of payment was e-transfer, please provide your e-transfer emails when canceling the event. No messaging is needed for requesting refunds nor might be answered earlier than 5 business days after the events.

Events are monitored closely by the organizers and in case of dangerous weather conditions, the event cancellation would be announces in advance and the event would be marked as cancel on meetup. Unless otherwise announced, all events happen at the time mentioned on the event page.

Due to the high demand for carpooling at our hike events and to incentivize the drivers to share their ride with others, there would be a carpool fee that would be set and received by the drivers directly. The organizers are not managing the carpools and also not responsible for any issues regarding the carpooling.

If you enjoy our events and like to thank your host or in general want to donate to the group so we can keep doing what we do best, you can e-transfer/or PayPal to nevereatalonetoronto@gmail.com email which is on auto-deposit and that's the best way to contribute to the quality of your group. Just mention "Donation" in the message box.

You can always tip the host by cash, buying them a drink, taking their bill at the restaurant, giving them gift cards, or thank them in your own unique way and they definitely appreciate it.

In some of our hiking events, we bring snacks, foods, and drinks that we happily share with others. If you love to contribute, you can pay as much as you like by e-transferring/or Paypal to nevereatalonetoronto@gmail.com and write "Food Contribution" in the message box.
