The enigmatic figure of Brigid, whether a goddess or a saint, remains a mystery profoundly intertwined with our history and origins.

Brigid, originally a goddess who embodied the complimentary forces of nature, was named “the Great Lady of Justice” or the one “Who Provides”, ruling over love and death, fire and water, healing and battle.

Her importance in Celtic tradition was so compelling that her legend was integrated in the image of St. Brigid. She herself was an intriguing woman, endlessly generous as well as a courageous warrior, embodying in her character similar attributes to the goddess.
