PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE HITTING THE RSVP. We crew the boat ourselves and ALL participants are NECESSARY to play an active roll in progressing the boat through EVERY lock and bridge. ( which can be heavy work) through rain or shine.

Please note you must have attended 2 NBHT events at the time of listing to participate.

We have managed to secure a bargain here, a full 6.5 hour cruis for just £15

We've hired a day boat from Aldermaston Wharf on the Kennet and Avon Canal.

We can either head East towards Theale or West towards Thatcham. The trip in either direction will include a number of locks and lifting bridges, which are both manual and electric operated.

The boat has a small galley, with hot and cold water, a small gas hob and fridge. There is a toilet on board..

life jackets can be supplied on request.

Doggies are welcome, although at the moment we only have space for one more, so please add a comment if you are bringing a furry friend. (obviously on a first come first served basis)

Sensible footwear should be worn and clothing to suit the weather condition on the day.

Car share should be considered to save on the pennies.

Please arrive promptly at 0930 hours, as late arrival will shorten the cruising time.
