Please join me for the rescheduled leisurely walk around the Royal Victoria Country Park at Netley. Flattish walk with mixed surfaces underfoot.

Dog friendly walk but dogs are not allowed in The Cedar Rooms I’m afraid, so owners will have to sit outside.

I plan to meet everyone outside of the entrance gates by Sophie’s Pond where there is plenty of free parking on Victoria Road, as paid parking inside is very expensive.

We will walk across wide open green spaces to a viewing area of Southampton Water. Then up to the Chapel for members to go in and look around (free) if they want to, or sit and have a quick coffee there at the Chapel café and toilets. We will stop here for approx 20 minutes.

Then a longer walk around the Park and through the First World War Graves cemetery, before circling back through the woods to the Cedar Rooms for lunch or refreshments.

Finally walk back to the entrance gates where our cars are parked.

As usual with NBHT no event fee unless you haven’t paid your one off joining fee of £3.
