Please join me for a one hour air rifle shooting session in the indoor range at the Peter Ashley Centre at Fort Purbrook.
It is a great activity that you can take part in, either just for fun, or we can add a competitive element to ther session. Your qualified instructor will start by giving you the safety briefing before explaining how to use our 177 Air Rifles. You will then learn how to use your rifle and perfect your aim. Can you hit the target? Score as many points as you can and find out who is the best sharp shooter!
I've never fired a rifle in my life and with my eyesight the results could be amusing.
All equipment provided, except ear defenders.
The shooting range is quite limited with space, so no spectators please (This is a health and safety point), With four ranges in operation it will be very loud.
Please come appropriately dressed for the activity and time of year. No open toed shoes or crocs are to be worn, No vest tops/crop tops.
We will all be required to complete a health and Safety medical form to participate in this activity. This needs to be completed prior to arrival at the location, otherwise our activity will be shortened. ( I have a copy of the form, which I will supply when needed).
There are no catering facilities on site, so if needed bring a drink with you.
No dogs (except assistance dogs which must be kept on a lead at all times) are permitted on site,
There is parking at the location, but not a lot, so please consider car sharing.
The cost of the session is £7.45 per person.
After we will adjourn to a nearby hostelry for refreshments.
If the event is full, please still add your name to the wait list as vacancies may become available.
IMPORTANT
We need 12 people to be able confirm the booking at the stated price., so please only RSVP if you’re committed.

or bring exact £3 cash to your first event if not already paid.
Guests also now need to pay a one-off £3 fee to attend.
