About us
This is a group for women. We are an all age women in the New Braunfels, TX area that want to make friends with other women. We have members in their 20s, 30s, 40, 50s, and 60s. Research shows that having friends of all ages is beneficial to a sense of community. If you're a woman new to town (like I was 3 years ago) or have lived here all your life, this group is for you. We will be inclusive of every woman and want women of all ages to join. There is not an activity theme for this group. We will do lunch, dinner, wine tastings, hiking, kayaking, book clubs, movies, concerts, cooking classes, festivals, day trips and anything else the group wants to. Join us and help shape what we do.
This group is not limited to people that live in New Braunfels. If you live anywhere nearby you are welcome to join. If you are just visiting New Braunfels you are welcome to join too!

The Love of My Life by Rosie WalshAbout the book:
From the New York Times bestselling author of Ghosted comes a love story wrapped in a mystery: an up-all-night page-turner with a dark secret at its core.Emma loves her husband Leo and their young daughter Ruby: she’d do anything for them. But almost everything she's told them about herself is a lie.
And she might just have got away with it, if it weren’t for her husband’s job. Leo is an obituary writer; Emma a well-known marine biologist. When she suffers a serious illness, Leo copes by doing what he knows best – researching and writing about his wife’s life. But as he starts to unravel the truth, he discovers the woman he loves doesn’t really exist. Even her name isn’t real.
When the very darkest moments of Emma’s past finally emerge, she must somehow prove to Leo that she really is the woman he always thought she was . . .
But first, she must tell him about the other love of her life.

The book:
Finding Me: A Memoir by Viola DavisAbout the book:
“It’s clear from the first page that Davis is going to serve a more intimate, unpolished account than is typical of the average (often ghost-written) celebrity memoir; Finding Me reads like Davis is sitting you down for a one-on-one conversation about her life, warts and all.”―USA TodayThis is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.
Finding Me is a deep reflection, a promise, and a love letter of sorts to self. My hope is that my story, a candid Black actress memoir, will inspire you to light up your own life with creative expression and rediscover who you were before the world put a label on you.
