2026: Weekend in San Antonio to see Hamilton

NOTE: AS OF 9/15/25 TICKETS FOR THIS HAVE ALREADY BEEN PURCHASED. MESSAGE ME (MAGGS) AND I CAN SEE IF I CAN GET YOUR A TICKET THROUGH THE EARLY TICKET SALES FOR SEASON TICKET HOLDERS. YOU CAN ALSO TRY TO BUY YOUR OWN TICKET WHEN TICKET SALES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC EITHER THROUGH TICKETMASTER OR POSSIBLY ON THE RESALE MARKET VIA STUBHUB.

This is for planning only and to see what interest there is. When we get closer I will create new events.

I'm planning a weekend in San Antonio around seeing Hamilton on Saturday August 1st, 2026 at 2PM. Public sale tickets for Hamilton are not available yet.

Very tentative plan is:
Friday: lunch, pool time at the hotel, happy hour/dinner in San Antonio
Saturday: quick breakfast, go to a museum, eat brunch/lunch, Hamilton, happy hour/dinner
Sunday: breakfast/brunch, pool time, museum and head home

I will create events for things we are doing including lunch on Friday, dinner Saturday, and brunch on Sunday (see note below on meals)

Hotel: TBD (will be in downtown SA near the Majestic Theater/River Walk). You are welcome to stay anywhere and/or come into SA for just parts of the weekend.

Group meals: there will be $5 deposit for each of those meals (3 total). You will get your money back if you show up. If you don't show up it will go to the wait staff who has a an empty seat in their section they can't get tip money from. If you cancel before I confirm the reservation I will refund your money.

Hamilton: if I can still get tickets through season ticket holder pre-sales, I require payment before I purchase it, and if you cannot go you are responsible for re-selling the ticket.

Museums: we will decide on where to go before the weekend and everyone can buy their own tickets.
