2nd VT Hardware Meetup @ Generator

Details
Hello fellow hardwarians!
Come join us for our first in person meetup as we have a great group of guest speakers lined up, and it will be a great chance to meet other hardware professionals!
There will be a chance to share what you're working on during open mic time. We'll be hosted by Generator Makerspace, which provides resources and opportunities like this one for the hardware community to come together.
Guest Speakers
- Seamus Hannan is a Burlington-based woodworker juggling dozens of custom projects at any given time. His personal work often involves combining fine hardwoods and veneers with LED lighting into light boxes. Seamus is one of our wood shop’s Volunteer Shop Leads and his studio is here at Generator, so there’s no better person to connect with if you’re considering joining Generator for access to the wood shop — he’s in it all the time! Seamus is also an audio engineer and live music lover
- Colin Riggs is the CEO and co-founder of Rigorous Technology, an industrial robotics company based in Williston, VT. Rigorous is developing a software platform that makes it easier for industrial manufacturers to source, review, and implement industrial robotics and develops full robotic systems for clients. Colin graduated from UVM with a physics degree, and since then he has led teams to develop remotely operated and autonomous robots, intersecting mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Prior to founding Rigorous, Colin worked at Greensea Systems, an underwater robotics company HQed in Richmond, VT. At Greensea, Colin worked on programs across the globe in scientific exploration, explosive ordinance disposal, and commercial initiatives. In Colin's free time, he can be found skiing or mountain biking the beautiful hills and mountains of Vermont.
- Kelly Murosky is a Sustainable Packaging Manager who looks after the Less Plastics / Renewable Feedstocks agenda at Unilever, a leading multinational consumer goods company. She graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology where she earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. She has a diverse career history in product and packaging development and has expanded her knowledge in the field through industry experience at Fisher-Price, Burton Snowboards, Kellogg’s, Keurig Green Mountain, and Seventh Generation. Recently transitioning to a role at Seventh Generation’s parent company, Unilever, Kelly specializes in sustainable packaging over a diverse category of products.
