About us
I started by organising these events to spread love and kindness, which is a big purpose in my life. I also run other projects that may benefit you or others because I have seen a big need for them. It has been so successful in every way, more than I ever imagined, and they have helped so many people in so many ways, which filled my heart with so much joy. You will need to be quick because they fill up quick!
We are building an incredible community, and even some people say a family.
We have been building something special and changing people's lives for the better, and everyone is a part of that, so thank you. Hopefully, you will join this group to improve your wellbeing and health.
Looking to improve your life and wellbeing and have some fun along the way?
Are you looking to get out with some like-minded people?
Trying to figure out how to be happier?
My name is Mark D'Arcy, and I am the founder and creator of the New Forest Wellbeing Group, which aims to help you with your wellbeing and mental health and have a lot of fun doing it. The group will be doing walks, talking from the heart, picnics, camping, meals out, and other events.
My own purpose in life is to spread kindness and love with a caring attitude. This is the perfect way to achieve that, along with the other projects I do. Also, I am trying to change the world by bringing people together through spreading kindness, love, and compassion, which fills my own heart with so much joy! It’s a win-win for everyone.
I believe I can help you find some happiness and hopefully understand yourself more, especially in this crazy world we live in.
I encourage everyone to bring an open mind and a willingness to meet new people and make lasting, meaningful friendships. Our group will aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for anyone who needs it, and everyone over 18 is welcome. I will also offer some mindfulness and self-care strategies on our walks to help promote positive mental health.
The purpose is to bring like-minded people together while socialising face-to-face, helping people combat loneliness and mental health issues while having some meaningful conversations and connections.
My goal is to create a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. I hope to inspire and empower our members to lead healthier and happier lives.
So, if you're ready to join a community that values kindness, mental health, and wellbeing while having some fun, then the New Forest Wellbeing Group is the perfect group for you.

Midweek Community Get-Together at Meeple Board Game Cafe
Meeple Play Cafe & Bar, Meeple Play Cafe & Bar, 46 Pylewell Road, Hythe, Southampton, SO45 6AQ. ,, Hythe, GBHello,
Sometimes people do not need more noise or more screens. They need a space to really connect, somewhere they can breathe out of fight or flight, and a community where they can feel part of something.
So here it is.We’re really pleased to be holding our first midweek community get-together at Meeple Board Game Cafe in Hythe, with exclusive access kindly offered to our community.
This is a lovely chance to come together in the week in a warm, relaxed and welcoming space, be around good people and just be yourself.
You do not need to arrive right at the start. You’re very welcome to come any time that suits you and leave when you want, but we do need to leave by 7pm.And just to say, you do not have to play games. This can simply be a coffee and connection, or a drink and connection, in a lovely environment with kind people. There is food and drink available to buy at the cafe and the whole idea is to create an easy, relaxed space for people to connect.
This is more than just a meet-up. It is a chance to reconnect. With other people. With yourself. With that part of you that can get a little lost in the noise of life.
We’d love you to come exactly as you are, not what the world expects you to be, and drop the mask some of us wear.
If it’s your first time, please do not worry. Everyone is warmly welcome and we really do love meeting new people. How to join in
This event is donation based, so just give what you feel. Cash on the day is absolutely fine.

If money is tight or life is difficult at the moment, please just message me privately. Everyone is welcome and we will always try to find a way that works. This is all for the community
Thanks to the kindness, warmth and support in this group and across the wider community, New Forest Wellbeing CIC has become something really special.
Through wellbeing walks, meals out, canoeing on the Beaulieu River, camping weekends, bushcraft, archery and other community events, we are creating spaces where people can feel safe, welcomed and part of something. If you have a look at our Facebook page, especially the posts and the comments, you will get a real feel for what this community is about and what people are getting from being part of it. The words other people leave often say far more than we ever could.
Something really special is happening here.
A space where kindness matters.
A space where people support each other.
A space where people can breathe, belong and be themselves.

New forest Walk in Dibden Inclosure and so much more...
Oak Road Car Park, Dibden Purlieu, Behind St Andrew's C of E Church, Dibden Purlieu, so45 4pl, GBHow about joining us for a gentle community wellbeing walk through a new route in the New Forest?
This walk starts from Applemore car park and heads out towards Ipley River. It is a route we have not done before, so it will be lovely to explore it together as a group. The best bit? You do not need to be anything other than yourself. Everyone is warmly welcome.
About the walk
Our walk begins at Applemore with free parking (location will be sent by DM)
Distance: around 5.2 miles
Terrain: mainly New Forest tracks and paths
Pace: gentle and welcoming
Breaks: we will stop when needed and keep everyone togetherPlease do not worry about pace. We walk as a community, no one gets left behind and you will be made to feel very welcome.
This is about far more than a walk.It is a chance to step away from the noise of the world for a while. To slow down. To breathe. To be around kind people and feel what real human connection can do.
So many of us are carrying more than people realise. Stress, pressure, old stories, worries about the past, thoughts about the future, work, family, health, money and all the everyday things that keep our minds busy.
When our minds are that full, how much space do we really have left for the present moment?
That is why these events matter. When people feel safe, welcomed and accepted, something starts to soften. The stress drops a little, the mind quietens and people begin to listen differently, share differently and connect more naturally.
You do not need to know anyone before you arrive. This is not a closed group and it is not the same people every week. New people come along all the time and you will be welcomed as part of the community. How to join in
We ask for a minimum £2 donation, either in cash on the day or in advance by bank transfer to our Metro account, whatever works best for you. This small contribution helps cover the running costs so we can keep offering community wellbeing events.
If something comes up and you cannot make it, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance so someone else can take your spot.No one left behind
If you are not currently working or money is tight, please just message me privately. Everyone is welcome and we will find a way that works for you. This is all for the community
