Bushcraft and Archery in the New Forest
Details
Who wants to light fires and try archery deep in the New Forest?
We’ll spend time together learning how to light
fires using natural materials and a striker, sharing lunch together and then having a go at archery.
This is a brilliant mix of fun, nature, connection and learning something a bit different in a kind and welcoming community.
This event falls on Father’s Day, so it could be a really special opportunity for dads to spend proper quality time with their sons or daughters, whatever their age.
But this is not just for fathers. Everyone is welcome.
Time is a strange measure really. It is not always about how much time we spend with people. It is the quality of that time and how present we are when we are with them.
That is often where the real connection happens.
No experience is needed. The fire lighting and archery are beginner friendly and you will be guided through everything.
Please bring your own lunch and something to drink.
This event is heavily subsidised to help make it accessible for everyone.
Payment must be made in advance and is non-refundable. Please use the date of the event as your payment reference.
Once payment has been received, please then book your place on Meetup. If you need the bank details, message me.
If money is very tight, please just message me privately. We never want money to be the only reason someone misses out, and we will always try to find a way that works.
Something special is happening
This community is about kindness, connection and creating a space where people can come as they are, not what the world expects them to be.
A space where people can drop the mask for a while, step away from the noise and feel a little more like themselves again.
We are building something that matters. A space where kindness ripples outward, where we support mental health, tackle loneliness and create more room for belonging, reflection and hope.
This is all for the community
New Forest Wellbeing CIC is not-for-profit. Any proceeds after costs go back into creating more community wellbeing events, and I do not take a wage from this.
I do this because I care, because I believe in people and because I have seen what can happen when the right community and the right environment come together.
