Café & Cruise - Let’s Visit Sapha Kafae then Take a Historic Sac River Cruise

Whether you’re new in town or a seasoned local, this event has something for everyone. Let’s meet up at the highly rated (4.9 stars) Sapha Kafae to partake in their excellent food and caffeinated beverages. Then, we’ll head over to City Cruises and take a Historic Sacramento River Cruise—drinks and food are available for purchase on board. ***Get your cruise tickets online before they sell out! ****Tickets may be available in person prior to the event.

We will meet at Sapha Kafae around 10:30 am for food and caffeine. They have incredible reviews, and the food looks great, too. If caffeine is not your drink of choice, they offer non-caffeinated beverages as well. There is paid parking on the street, and many local by-the-hour garages are available nearby. At 12:00 pm, we will walk or drive 1.2 miles to the City Cruises location for their Historic Sacramento River Cruise. The captain will regale us with historic facts as we sail along the river. Parking:
Near the café: Street parking is limited and metered.
Near the café: East End Parking Garage; government parking, which opens to the public on weekends for $2 a day.
Near the cruise: Lot 14 Parking Structure; $8 / day, 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Near the cruise: Tower Bridge Garage; $1.50 / 30 min.

Location 1) Sapha Kafae - 1331 O St, Sacramento, CA 95814. Caffeinated drinks and excellent food!
Time 1) 10:30 am to 12:00 pm
Cost) Beverages: $4 - $7. Food: $5 - $15.

Travel:
Drive or walk from the café to City Cruises, 1.2 miles away (15min).

Location 2) Historic Sacramento River Cruise with City Cruises - 1206 Front Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. Drinks and food are available for purchase on board.
Time 2) 12:15 pm to 2:00 pm.
Cost) Tickets are available from Groupon for $26, search “Historic Sacramento River Cruise from City Cruises.” Reviews praise this historic tour with the caveat that Groupon tickets are difficult to get a refund for a cancellation. Tickets are also available directly through CityCruises for $33, it’s their “Historic Sacramento River Cruise.” Cancellations are simpler with them.
Note: Dress casually and have a good time!
