Welcome! This group is open to people in the metro New Orleans area and BEYOND! Feel free to join us if you're visiting from out of town. We meet monthly to learn, share our experiences and insights, and socialize. Some MeetUp events are in-person, and some are virtual.
Group members range widely in experience. Some people have a casual interest in astrology, some are students, and a few are professionals. We explore different topics and traditions in astrology and strive to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all.

Our guest speaker is Andrea L. Gehrz, President of the Portland, OR NCGR chapter. NCGR is the National Council of Geocosmic Research, a non-profit (501-C) organization incorporated in Massachusetts in 1971 for the purpose of raising the standards of astrological education and research.
Nowadays, Andrea can be found at the Moira Press, running a bookstore and events space/school. Through the daily events at the Moira Press, astrologers from all over the globe read high level textbooks, have deep discussions about the topic of the week, learn to read their own charts, become better astrologers, and much more.
