This is for Copperfields which is a road adjacent to the Sports ground on Cock Lane that we meet outside.
I last did this circular walk last October and today we explore a route seldom used by walkers, according to the farmers whose land we cross, which is surprising as it is so nice. It is a wholly circular walk of 5/5.5 miles and flat except for one steady shallow climb which will reward you with a walk through a stud farm and a fantastic view that would be stunning on the front of a chocolate box or wonderful for a jigsaw.
We start by walking through Fetcham village and onto farm land, through some woods and back to the farms with some glorious old properties and then the climb through another farm. Once we have seen the view, which a few of you will have seen on one of my previous walks, it is back to the car via the glorious surroundings and ponds on Bookham Common, past another group of lovely expensive properties and then a small housing estate. There are a couple of stiles and a short part where the path is not very wide, so long trousers or socks are suggested.
NO DOGS PLEASE. You are welcome to bring a friend.
You can call me on 07395 004461 and easily catch up if you are a few minutes late.
There are a couple of pubs in Fetcham but the best for value and reviews is The Anchor in Bookham, just a short distance away. It is at 161, Lower Road, Bookham KT23 4AH phone no. 01372 452429 but it is only small. See the map below and if you start at Cock Lane and at the top middle and follow it round onto Kennel Lane and then Lower Road, you will see how to get there.

If the weather is nice, and your taste in walks is the same as mine, you will enjoy it I am sure. So I hope to see some of you there.
For members of the regular walking scheme it is free, for others £4.
