If you like my walks, don't miss this one if you can and there is lots of free parking. This is a different walk from the one I did last year when the festival was on.
This is a wonderful 5.5 mile circular weekend walk as we pass through some fantastic open fields, beautiful quiet country lanes, heathland on Blackheath, farms and Farley Green and some nice houses as well. I will be astonished if much of this is familiar to you as I saw hardly anyone on the reccies as I did them and when I last lead the walk. If the sun is out you will see glorious views for miles so fingers crossed!
When we finish the Albury Music Festival will be in full swing so you can listen to some bands, enjoy a pint and a burger or just go home to do whatever you want.
It will take us 2.15/2.5 hours. It is in the Surrey Hills so that means lots of rises and falls but there are no real sharp climbs just one sharp descent at the beginning. I did it in shorts without too much trouble but bring lots of water as the rises and falls will mean it seems a bit longer and you may need a little more refreshment.
A couple of stiles as well.
NO DOGS PLEASE.
It is very easy to catch up if you are few minutes late and you can call me on 07395004461 for directions.
