This is a lovely weekend walk so come and explore two lakes, the old site of Chertsey Abbey, see some lovely ponies, if they are in the fields as normal, follow the Thames to parts few of you will have seen on previous walks in this area and back via the old historic part of Chertsey and alongside the river Bourne. A flat circular walk that is 5 - 5.5 mile long.

Generally it will be good underfoot most of the way round although there may be a few muddy parts but hopefully we will be there before it gets too bad, so wear sensible footwear please as I do not want people slipping over.

The local pub is a Hungry Horse and you get a big plate of food and it is good value but not everyone's cup of tea. So rather than take up their car park, we will pass it just before the end of the walk and you are welcome to use their facilities. You can book a table if you wish from the site below.

NO DOGS PLEASE.

There is a £4 fee for the walk unless you are a member of the regular walks scheme whereupon it is free.

You can call me on 07395 004461 if you are late of lost and it is easy to catch up if you are a few minutes late.
