Fine Art Editorial Figure Photography Workshop
Join us for a creative four-hour photography workshop exploring the human form through light, shadow, texture, shape, and composition.

This workshop is inspired by contemporary fashion editorials and fine art photography. We’ll move away from traditional boudoir posing and focus instead on creating bold, artistic images using dramatic light, interesting crops, negative space, texture, and minimal styling.
We’ll work through several different concepts, including wet skin and translucent color, hard directional light with an oversized hat, black-and-white body studies with pearls, and patterned shadows projected across the body.
The goal is to create images that feel refined, artistic, and editorial while also learning how to direct the model, control light, and use the body as part of the composition.
We’ll cover posing, lighting, camera angles, cropping, composition, and how small changes in light and body position can completely change an image.
This will be a small-group workshop so everyone has plenty of time to shoot each setup.
What to bring:
Camera, lenses, memory cards, and anything else you normally shoot with. A 50mm, 85mm, or 24-70mm lens would work very well for this type of photography.
