FRIDA League and Condos for K9's Masquerade Fundraising Soiree

Recently FRIDA League, an upcoming New York Animal Rights Nonprofit, has teamed up with the Condos for K9's campaign for a fundraising event that will raise money to build kennels for the Heavenly Angels Rescue.

FRIDA League is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for animals through freedom, respect, integrity and dignity by spreading awareness and creating change through activism. We believe in hope and change because we KNOW that we can eradicate the practice of killing thousands of dogs and cats on a daily basis for absolutely no reason at all. We advocate for the abolishing of the practice of selling animals as pets while those in dire need of a loving home are being sent off for 'humane' slaughter. As many rescued and abandoned pets, along with thousands of dogs rescued from puppy-mills, are brought in to shelters, there is always a need for volunteers. Most of these dogs spend more than 20hrs a day locked in cramped cages as they await to be adopted into loving homes. Unfortunately, many of them wait for year, while some do not even get a chance to see the day they are shown the kindness, love and friendship they solemnly deserve. That is why FRIDA League is dedicated to increasing the number of adoptions through stronger pet laws, shelter reform, eradication of puppy-mills, and abolishing of pets-for-sale practices. Every animal deserves a chance, and FRIDA League knows that it is an attainable reality. Together we can make it happen.
