This meetup group is geared to both creators of algorithmic music & art as well as fans of algorithmically generated performances.
An Algorave is an event where people dance to music generated from algorithms, often using live coding techniques.
We are looking to host three types of meetup events located around Manhattan and Brooklyn:
- Creator meetups where tips, techniques and hacks can be shared
- Algoraves: Live music and visuals hosted at local venues
- Festivals
