Courage is the ability to act in the face of fear, uncertainty, or difficulty. It’s not the absence of fear, but the decision to move forward despite it—whether that means speaking up, taking a risk, being vulnerable, or standing firm in your values. Courage shows up in both big, life-changing moments and in quiet, everyday choices. It can be deeply personal or publicly visible, and it often leads to growth, change, or deeper connection. In this discussion, we’ll explore what courage looks like in our lives, where it comes from, and how it helps us navigate challenges and stay true to ourselves.

  1. How do you personally define courage, and what does it mean in your life?
  2. Can you share a time when you acted courageously, even if it felt small?
  3. What’s the difference between being brave and being reckless?
  4. In what situations is courage most difficult for you to access?
  5. How does fear influence your ability to be courageous?
  6. What role does vulnerability play in acts of courage?
  7. Can everyday choices—like setting boundaries or telling the truth—be forms of courage?
  8. How do cultural or societal norms shape what we consider courageous?
  9. Who do you admire for their courage, and what do they teach you?
  10. How do you build or strengthen your own sense of courage over time?
  11. How can we encourage and support courage in others?

These are just some of the questions we will discuss during our meetup. No preparation needed, just bring yourself and a willingness to listen and share your thoughts.

The meetup will be structured in a way to promote small group discussion so everyone has a chance to listen, be heard, and really dive into the discussion.
