The TWA Hotel is built around the legendary TWA Flight Center, designed by celebrated architect Eero Saarinen and opened in 1962. With its dramatic, wing-like concrete curves, the terminal became a symbol of the optimism, glamour, and excitement of the Jet Age—and is now considered a landmark of mid-century modern architecture.
The host of the meetup is an airline employee who will give a tour of the main photo spots within and around the structure at the end of the cowork session. He can also give travel tips and suggestions. I encourage you to take calls while exploring the historic building. The main area we will cowork is the white tables to the left of the Lobby Check in desk (see photo) opposite the food courts, as these have power outlets. The Sunken Lounge is also great. Please note there is some music playing in the lobby however is is not very loud and is depending on where you sit. Wifi is available. Bathrooms are available.

11am - 1pm: Social Coworking
1pm - 2pm: Community lunch - bring your own or buy something nearby at the TWA Food Court (prices are typical for airport, so i recommend bringing your own)🥗🥙🥘
2pm - 4pm: Social Coworking
4pm - 5pm : Tour of TWA Photo Spots
5pm - 6 pm : Drinks/Hangout on ✈️ Connie the Lockheed Constellation Airplane behind TWA + Travel Tips Discussion from Host
You can arrive and leave anytime you like - feel free to join only part of the day or arrive early.
How to Get There :
- Take the E J or LIRR to Jamaica Station
- Transfer to the Airtrain (tap to pay)
- Take the Airtrain to Terminal 5 / TWA
- Follow signs to TWA Hotel
- Enter near the lobby (youll see a blue volkswagon) and we will be on the left side of the lobby (opposite food court) at the desks in the photos section. I will also include a guide in the photo section to detail this.
- You can also uber, driving isnt recommended as parking rates are high.
