What we’re about
Welcome to the New York Goalkeepers - An Accountability Group! This group is dedicated to fostering personal growth and accountability through shared interests and experiences. Whether you're into fitness, personal development, or simply looking to connect with like-minded individuals, this is the perfect space for you. We all have said the words "one day" about starting a business, changing careers, or being consistent in the gym. You may even have all of the skillsets to succeed here - but you never make the jump! The goal here is to be what makes you a winner - to act on your word and be reliable about it.
This would be a twice weekly short Zoom meetup - enough to state your goals for the next 3-4 days, reflect on the last few days, and keep on track.

•OnlineMorning Wake Up & Mid Week Check In
OnlineGood morning everyone!
For new members:
In preparation for this meeting, have 3 medium - term goals planned for the foreseeable future. Here's some examples:- Lose 20 lbs in 2-3 months
- Get a new job (usually 3-6 months, although I know the job market is brutal right now)
- Design a prototype
- Build a website
- Apply to grad school
- Get a gym membership, be consistent (3-4 X / week)
- Budget consistently and save a sum of money
Now, take those goals and format them in the SMART format (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time Bound).
The idea is that we have so many goals, and the reality is that we can only really focus on 2-3 at at time. The goal is to cut out the noise, achieve a few things at a time, and let the effects snowball with more goals.
We'll state our goals, break them down into smaller, daily pieces (build a prototype -> design it digitally, or order parts by mid week, etc), and set an agenda for mid week. The goal is to break things into little, manageable pieces. For existing members:
Take inventory of how Sunday - Tuesday have been for you in pursuit of your goals. Did you commit to what you said you would do in Sunday's meeting? If not, reflect on what went wrong, what should have been done differently, and what you will do to make the next half week different from the first half of the week.
We will use Google Meet - if you have a Gmail account, you have a Google Meet account. Here's the link:
