With their own distinct charm both Woodstock and Kingston are very unique and interesting towns. Let' take a day trip together and visit both.
Dating back to 1652 with the arrival of the Dutch, Kingston has a rich history as the states first capital during the revolutionary war. It was subsequently burned by the British in the 19th century. Despite the fire there are still some stone buildings dating back to 17th century. The city is seeing resurgence as many people are moving there. Home to famous Kingston Jazz festival and the historic Trolley Museum.
Woodstock is a cultural hub that is known for its' art seen. With the hippie culture still at its' core. It is also a town connected to nature with lots of outdoor activities and it sits at the foot of Overlook mountain.
There is lot's to see and experience in both cities. We will stop for dinner before heading back
