Historic Bethlehem and Delaware River Train Excursion

Details

Let's escape the city for a day of history and culture in the Lehigh Valley.

We’ll start with lunch before heading to tour SteelStacks, former home of one of the companies that helped build America, Bethlehem Steel. It is now a cultural art center. We’ll explore the converted steel-mill campus and its striking public art installations. And take a tour to learn about The Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel.

After, we will wander the outdoor paths and industrial ruins of the Colonial Industrial Quarter and then stroll historic downtown Bethlehem. We'll peek into the Moravian Bookshop, browse boutique storefronts, and enjoy up the colonial era charm.

Next, we’ll drive over to Easton for a scenic River Train ride with Delaware River Railroad Excursions, winding alongside Delaware river and through riverside woodlands.
To cap it all off, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner in Easton’s charming downtown before heading home

We will meet in the city and travel together in a comfortable passenger van.
The cost of the trip is $105, which includes both Steel Stacks (Bethlehem Steel) tour and railroad ride tickets.
