We'll first dive into American history at Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site in Newburgh, where George Washington made critical decisions during the final years of the Revolutionary War. We'll explore the preserved rooms of this 18th-century stone house, walk through the museum, and take in panoramic views of the Hudson River from the grounds.
Then it’s time to get out on the Hudson for a fun and scenic kayaking trip. We’ll paddle along the river, soak in the views, and float by the eerie and beautiful ruins of Bannerman Castle
We'll then check out Beacon NY where we'll have a delicious meal together before heading back.
We will meet in the city and travel together in a comfortable passenger van.
The cost of the trip is $98, which includes kayaking and Washington Headquarters tour
