Princeton University Art Museum and Campus (rain or shine)
Details
we are meeting at 10:30 at Washington Square Park by the Arch. If rsvp is open, you can still join us. Message the organizer if you are coming.
Let’s spend the day in Princeton, exploring the town and visiting the newly remodeled and long-awaited Princeton University Art Museum, which has finally reopened.
We’ll start by wandering through downtown Princeton, with its classic college-town feel, tree-lined streets, independent shops, bookstores, and cafés. From there we’ll head onto the Princeton University campus, which feels more like a small historic village than a school, with beautiful architecture, quiet courtyards, and lots of spots to explore at a relaxed pace.
The highlight of the day is the Princeton Art Museum, now reopened after a major renovation. The museum is known for its strong collection that spans ancient art, European painting, modern works, photography, and global art from across cultures. The new space is bright, thoughtfully designed, and great for both casual browsing and deeper looking, making it a solid centerpiece for the trip regardless of the weather.
We will meet in the city and travel together in a comfortable 15 passenger van.
The cost of the trip is $55
