Let's get away from the city and spend the day surrounded by animals and open space. We’ll head down south to one of NJ's highlights and visit Popcorn Park Animal Refuge, a unique sanctuary that gives rescued and retired animals a second chance at life.

Popcorn Park isn’t a traditional zoo, it’s a refuge. Many of the animals here have been rescued from difficult situations, including former zoo animals, wildlife that can’t return to the wild, and farm animals that needed a safe home. As we walk through the park, we’ll see everything from lions and tigers to bears, monkeys, birds, and farm animals, all cared for in a peaceful, wooded setting. It’s relaxed, uncrowded, and has a very different energy from big commercial attractions. You can take your time, read the animals’ rescue stories, and just enjoy being somewhere quiet and grounded.

After we'll stop for food and explore the charming town of Tom's river.

We will meet in the city and travel together (transportation provided)
The cost of the trip is $65, including the admission ticket.
