Welcome to the NYC hub for Snowflake practitioners. We are a monthly community focused on Hands-On Learning, Architectural Deep-Dives, and Networking.
Whether you are a Data Engineer, an Analytics Architect, or a CTO, our goal is to help you master the Snowflake AI Data Cloud while connecting with the people building the most innovative stacks in New York.
We meet once a month in Midtown for a "Work hard, play hard" cadence.
The Lab (odd months): Laptops-open workshops. We skip the "Hello World" and build real-world solutions. Automated M&A Intelligence Agents, Real-Time Financial Ingestion Pipelines, and Multi-LLM Comparison Engines.
The Social (even months): Data Pub Quizzes, Networking Happy Hours, and "War Story" sessions where we discuss the Snowflake gotchas that didn't make it into the documentation.

Snowflake Cortex AI Lab

Participants will build a functional Intelligence Dashboard using Streamlit in Snowflake and Snowflake Cortex, working with real world data.
The Project
In this session, we provide a base Streamlit application layered over a table of parsed and vectorized financial text. From this base, you will implement a suite of specialized AI components:- `CORTEX.TRANSLATE`
- `CORTEX.SENTIMENT`
- `CORTEX.EXTRACT_ENTITIES`
- `CORTEX.COMPLETE`
- `CORTEX.SUMMARIZE`
- `CORTEX.EXTRACT_ANSWER`
You will learn how to architect governed, multi-functional AI tools that remain entirely within Snowflake.
