The New York Tango Meetup Group is for people who want to learn and enjoy Argentine tango together in New York City. People who want to take classes in Argentine tango dancing and music and who want to come socialize and dance tango would enjoy this group. GothamTango brings Argentine tango to Sanger Hall for a beginner-friendly class and social built around connection, music, and real human presence. No gender roles. No partner needed. No experience expected.
We’ll get you moving fast in the class, then open the floor for relaxed social dancing. Come dance, meet someone new, or grab a drink and see what happens.
