New York Theremin Players Meetup

This is a group for anyone interested in playing the theremin. While all levels of players are encouraged to join, you may need to own a theremin and bring it to the meetup. We will "jam" on the theremin. It is hoped that we will play together, or create music pieces that involve the group.

Initially, the meetup is looking for people to express interest. A studio will likely be rented in Brooklyn or Manhattan. We will search for open mics to suggest, and work to find performances for us.

Depending on the facilities, an amp and stand may or may not be provided - tbd.

It is thought that we will meet once a month - please send any preferences for dates, day and time. The time will not be during standard work hours: it must be either 6:30pm on weeknights, or weekend (Sat afternoon or Sunday afternoon/evening.)
