Please join us Tomorrow for a Structured Networking evening at The Anthologist on Gresham Street, in the heart of London's Financial district. The Anthologist is a lovely bar, and we'll have a separate area for the group, it'll stay open after the session until 11pm too if you really want to continue networking late. I hope you'll enjoy it there.

This event is designed specifically to help you make new high quality FinTech contacts:

The attendees will be drawn from our very high quality FinTech Membership, this is not a generic Tech scene event, you'll be able to check out who's coming on the right of the listing, all Delegates are listed with their profiles

We're preparing custom badges that capture each Delegate's details, who they are, where they work, what they do and what they're looking for, this should make it really easy to discover the most relevant contacts to suit your own needs

We'll ring a bell every 5 minutes to help you end conversations and move on to meet other Delegates, please make sure you bring business cards

The charge includes 3 free drinks (a glass of house wine, a bottle of beer or a soft drink) and we'll put some sharing plates out too, The Anthologist also has a great restaurant if you'd like to dine earlier, and it also has a great bar snacks menu.

2. Become a Data Scientist – 10% programme discount for NewFinance Members

S2DS (www.s2ds.org) is an intensive five-week summer school, aimed at transforming highly talented analytical PhDs into commercial data scientists. It will run in London next summer and is inspired by a similar programme running in Silicon Valley. The school will involve circa 40 hours of lectures on data science tools and techniques and business skills, but the main learning will be in working on real-life projects supplied by our partner companies. We are seeking more partner companies (both start-ups and established companies) to help us with projects and financial support. In return, our partners recruit for free among the 70 – 100 high quality data talent and experience a marketing effect towards a wider PhD and data science community.
